A Love Story That Spanned Two Cities

Kaelie and William's story began in 2020 thanks to an introduction from William's sister, Mary, who had been Kaelie's college roommate at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After years of dating, their relationship shifted to long distance when William accepted a software engineering position with Amazon in Seattle while Kaelie finished her degree in Early Childhood Education.

A visit to Seattle changed more than just their relationship. During one trip, Kaelie discovered the school where she would eventually begin her teaching career after graduation. Together, they've built a life in the Pacific Northwest, spending weekends exploring hiking trails, trying new restaurants, and creating a home together.

When it came time to propose, William planned a moment that perfectly reflected what mattered most to them. Just before Sunday Mass at St. Stanislaus in Milwaukee, he asked Kaelie to marry him. Afterwards, they celebrated with family exactly as she had always hoped.

The morning began at the hotel, where Kaelie and William spent time with their closest family and friends before the festivities began. The excitement of the day slowly built as everyone prepared, making for a relaxed and joyful start to the celebration.
