Black and White Wedding at The Beloit Club | Jordan & Justin

A classic black-and-white color palette, beautiful summer weather, and a celebration that brought family and friends together. Jordan and Justin's June wedding at The Beloit Club was elegant, personal, and full of memorable moments.

From their private vows before the ceremony to a reception where every guest dressed in black, the couple put their own spin on a timeless wedding style. Our Weddings With a Twist team, led by coordinator Julia, was there to help bring everything together and keep the day running smoothly.

A Love Story That Started at a Baseball Game

Jordan and Justin's story began seven or eight years ago when they met through mutual friends at a Brewers vs. Cubs game. Since then, they've built a life together with their two children, Brooks and Benni, who are now five and three.

As a family, they love spending time outdoors, and Jordan and Justin also enjoy getting out for date nights together. When it came time to propose, Justin chose a beautiful setting for the occasion: a Florida beach at sunset.

A little over a year later, they celebrated their wedding at The Beloit Club, surrounded by family and friends.

First Look and Private Vows at The Beloit Club

Before their outdoor ceremony, Jordan and Justin shared a first look and exchanged private vows. It was an opportunity to spend some time together before the celebrations began, with a chance to say a few things to each other away from the larger crowd.

Afterward, they took advantage of The Beloit Club's beautiful property for portraits. The stone architecture, covered walkways, and surrounding greenery made for a variety of photo locations, and the couple's wedding attire looked especially striking against the natural backdrop.

Jordan wore a gorgeous white gown with a dramatic bow detail on the shoulder, while Justin complemented her look in a white tuxedo jacket, black bow tie, and black trousers. Their outfits set the tone for the black-and-white celebration to follow.

An Elegant Black and White Wedding Reception

One of the most distinctive details of Jordan and Justin's wedding was their dress code. Guests were asked to wear all black, creating a cohesive look that carried the couple's black-and-white theme throughout the celebration.

Following their outdoor ceremony, everyone moved inside The Beloit Club for the reception.

The reception design embraced the contrast of black and white. Black linens and chair covers were paired with white floral arrangements, greenery, and simple white stationery. The couple's sweetheart table featured larger floral arrangements that framed the space, while the guest tables were decorated with low white centerpieces.

Even the wedding cake followed the theme, with two tiers of white textured frosting and fresh white flowers.

The result was a classic reception design that complemented the venue's dark wood accents and architectural details.

A Night of Celebrating

Once guests were settled into the reception, Jordan and Justin made their entrance and kicked off the evening's festivities.

The celebration included cake cutting, first dances, and plenty of time on the dance floor. One fun addition was an audio guest book, where guests could pick up a vintage-style telephone and record messages for the newlyweds. It gave everyone an opportunity to share their congratulations, marriage advice, and favorite memories in their own voices.

Jordan and Justin also stepped outside for sunset portraits, taking advantage of the evening light for a few more photos together before returning to the party.

Between the thoughtful details and all of the celebrating, it was a wonderful day from beginning to end.
