The Ivy House Wedding - Jessica and Austin

Jessica and Austin’s Ivy House wedding in May was the perfect spring day! Their wedding day featured lots of personal touches. For their seating chart, they wrote letters to each guest and put them in a beautiful handmade display. During cocktail hour, they had a cigar bar and customized temporary tattoos which guests loved. They also had cocktail napkins that they personalized with sweet notes.

During dinner they had a “kisses for a cause” jar on their sweetheart table where guests could come up and make a donation to get them to kiss. They ended up raising $300 and matched that amount to make a $600 donation to Underdog Pet Rescue of WI to cover rescue medical care for dogs and cats. That’s where their dog, Willy, got a second chance.

Later in the reception, Jessica changed dresses and they had fun props on the dance floor like a wig for Austin. The pictures are hilarious and capture how much fun they had throughout the night!

Cheers to the happy couple and thank you to Jessica for this amazing review!

This is your sign to book WWAT right now! I truly believe the reason my husband and I were so relaxed and present for our entire wedding day was because of the thorough Communication and prep we did with our planner, Julia. She put us at ease immediately during our initial phone call and we booked immediately! We decided on a package within our budget that included day-of coordination and design support. Immediately after booking, we had access to a whole portal of customized planning info, which was our holy grail to keep us on track. Julia was our go-to gal, she created a vision board based on our Pinterest inspo, gathered quotes for us, and helped us book vendors within our budget to bring our vision to life. About a month out, she took over all vendor communication, timeline creation, and shared helpful reminders leading up to our day.

Julia met with us during our final venue walk through and managed our rehearsal as well. On wedding day, she handled decor set-up, vendor management, and even had cocktails and appetizers waiting for us right after our ceremony while we signed our marriage license! We didn’t have to lift a finger on our day thanks to Julia and her assistant, Sarah. When they departed, they left a helpful note for us to make sure end of night pack-up went smoothly. The morning after, Julia even helped us handle a little hiccup with rental pickup at our venue with ease. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, DO IT. It was hands down the best money we spent and we’re so thankful for Julia and the WWAT team!
