Hannah and Tristan met while attending Marquette University as neuroscience majors, so it was quite fitting that they had their first look and private vows at the Joan of Arc chapel and their ceremony at Gesu Parish, both of which are located on Marquette’s campus.

Their reception was held at the Milwaukee County Historical Society. They were going for a moody vibe with their decor which fit perfectly and their cake was absolutely incredible! They also had a photo booth inside the vault next to the dance floor. For the grand march, the DJ used the Italian flag colors for the uplights to incorporate Tristan’s Italian heritage. After their first dance and cake cutting, the couple had a shoe change moment where they put on their customized Nikes in Marquette’s school colors which was so fun!

During their wedding day Hannah and Tristan incorporated a lot of moments to honor and celebrate family members. Next to the memorial photos of their loved ones, they had that person’s favorite dessert as part of their dessert bar. The card box was Hannah’s grandma’s and her garter was made from tulle from her grandma’s dress. One of the most special parts of the day was having their grandparents serve as the ring bearers.
