Back in October I got the opportunity to be a part of something really special called the Whimsical Wedding Giveaway. Katie Guth of Katie Guth Photography is the one who came up with the idea to get a team of wedding professionals together to give away a FREE wedding to a couple in need. As soon as I knew what she was up to, I was in! Not to my surprise, we found a number of local businesses that were excited to participate as well. We started planning this contest in April and ambitiously chose a wedding date of October 23rd, which meant we needed to act fast.

The holidays are quickly approaching and we can’t help but get in the spirit of the season!  While many couples get married in Wisconsin during the spring, summer, and fall months, a winter wedding can create a beautiful and unique experience for both the couple as well as the attending guests.  Here are some of the hottest winter wedding trends of 2016-2017 to inspire all you winter brides out there.

This past year I have really enjoyed putting together styled shoots with some of my favorite local wedding professionals. I love creating different looks to showcase everyone’s talents. You can say it has become a little bit of an obsession. :)

Back in summer I noticed that a new wedding venue was under construction in Richfield, WI – Terrace 167.  There were only a few pictures online, but it looked really unique.  Right away, my good friend Melissa Bucci, and I decided we needed to go see it and plan a styled shoot there. 

I can’t believe our new office space has already been open for 7 months!  It certainly took some time to get settled in and get the space up to my standards.  Although I spent A LOT of time shopping (not that I’m complaining about that!), I had so much fun decorating it!
